made by hand · never reproduced
LEONÉ · Hand-Sculpted · Hand-Gilded

The hand you'll never see. The work you can't forget.

Original art — raised relief sculpted by hand, then finished in hand-applied gold and silver leaf, and the leopard, a recurring totem. Each piece made one at a time, by commission. The artist stays behind the work.

The Signature

Two forms, one hand — relief sculpted slowly, then finished in hand-applied leaf.

Every piece begins as raw texture and ends in light. Whether sculpted into botanical relief or rendered as the leopard — the totem that recurs throughout the work — the approach is always the same: surface sculpted by hand, then laid with gold or silver leaf, burnished into the texture and brushed back, alive under changing light.

01 — The Totem

The Leopard

The spirit animal at the centre of the work, returned to again and again. Bold graphic portraits in metallic silver and gold leaf against deep grounds — high contrast, watchful, unmistakably the heart of LEONÉ.

02 — Sculptural Relief

Gilded Botanicals

Dimensional forms — leaves, stems, blooms — sculpted in raised relief by hand, then finished in gold leaf over a soft painted ground. They change character as you move around the room.

Behind the Work

The artist stays behind the gold.

LEONÉ works without a face and without a name — by choice. What matters is in front of you: the surface, the leaf, the leopard. The maker remains anonymous so the work can speak alone.

What can be said is this: a life lived across several countries, an Eastern stillness, and a refusal to hurry. Every piece is built by hand, layer by layer — no prints, no reproductions, no shortcuts. Texture is sculpted first; gold or silver leaf is the final material, the light, laid onto every surface.

The leopard returns again and again — a totem, a quiet self-portrait in another form, watchful and gold. It is the only signature LEONÉ leaves.

In the Studio

Hands, leaf, and time.

No fast art. Every surface is sculpted by hand and finished in hand-applied leaf — filmed without a face, because the work is the only thing that needs to be seen.

How a Commission Works

From first note to your wall.

No checkout, no cart. Each piece is made to order through a simple, personal process — so what arrives is sized, coloured, and composed for your space alone.

01 — Inquiry

You reach out

Tell the studio about your space, the size you're imagining, and what draws you — through the waitlist form below.

02 — Reply

The studio responds

When a commission window opens, you'll hear back personally with availability and next steps.

03 — A short call

Size & colour, together

Serious inquiries are invited to a short call to talk through your wall, the scale, and the palette — then the studio proposes the piece, with price.

04 — Deposit

Your slot is secured

A deposit reserves your place in the schedule and covers materials. The piece is now yours in the making.

05 — Made by hand

Sculpted & finished

The relief is built and laid with leaf over the following weeks. Genuine gold or silver leaf is available as a premium option. You receive progress photographs along the way.

06 — Delivery

Balance & shipping

The balance is settled on completion, then the finished piece is crated, insured, and shipped to you worldwide.

Typical lead time is four to ten weeks per piece, depending on scale. Pricing is by the piece, on enquiry — shaped by size, materials, and whether finished in standard or genuine gold or silver leaf.
