The artist stays behind the gold.
LEONÉ works without a face and without a name — by choice. What matters is in front of you: the surface, the leaf, the leopard. The maker remains anonymous so the work can speak alone.
What can be said is this: a life lived across several countries, an Eastern stillness, and a refusal to hurry. Every piece is built by hand, layer by layer — no prints, no reproductions, no shortcuts. Texture is sculpted first; gold or silver leaf is the final material, the light, laid onto every surface.
The leopard returns again and again — a totem, a quiet self-portrait in another form, watchful and gold. It is the only signature LEONÉ leaves.
